A couple targets have been substituting items for sale items out of stock. Batman Man-bat attack for 15.99. It's all pretty random. That's the only one that really sticks out in my head.

Finally a decent Cartwheel discount! It was getting old saving 5 cents off a yogurt. Nice deal on the Princess sets, I got Rapunzel's Tower for $27.35 after Cartwheel and Redcard discounts.

How does the cartwheel app work exactly? I ordered 70009 for pick-up and I figured I would try to have them add the 10% off somehow, but even though I find the set in the app, it is out of stock and I can't add it to my cart to show them. I'm going to give it a shot somehow.

Each cartwheel account has a unique 2D bar-code that you need to show to the cashier at checkout. The code can be on paper, or on a smart phone as an image, or on the 'my cartwheel' page in the cartwheel app. The discount works as a normal coupon, with the discount applied at the register after the code is scanned.

Cartwheel is in-store only, so I don't think they would add in the discount to an on-line order with store pickup. But, you might be able to 'return' the on-line order and re-buy as an in store purchase. Not sure if that would work, though, as I've never tried it.
