Re: Target
Quin Jet is very underrated, more people should check it out! Very very well built.
Re: Target
I have one, I agree that its very well built and looks very impressive, but from a kids point of view the playability is next to 0, its slightly heavy for a kid to carry and pretend he is flying it, only thing he can do is turn it around on its wheels. My son took the minifigs and was pretend playing, hardly paid 5 min attention to the plane itself.

Re: Target
Interesting note, you can also get them for $48.99 in Target's eBay store. According to their store they have at the time of this post they have 3017 Quinjet sets still available.
That seems like a lot to me for a set that is suppose to be next to dead. Guess this set really did under perform on the shelves of Retail and will now under perform on the shelves of all the noob LEGO investors that don't have a clue what they are doing.

Re: Target
Thanks, Exclusive - I picked up one of the sets in their eBay store. It was $60 shipped.

Re: Target
I just picked one up for $42.88 through Toys R us price match, along with a 20% off total purchase and $5 TRUE rewards. If you have a TRUE close, it's worth checking out, though it's more than their standard price match, so you have to get a manager to override.

Re: Target
Which means it won't ever work at 99% of the Toy's R Us stores. Even if you go back when there is a different manager he probably won't do it when the one the day before did.used2bgood wrote:I just picked one up for $42.88 through Toys R us price match, along with a 20% off total purchase and $5 TRUE rewards. Re: Target
That price match must have only been possible if you got it in store.
Re: Target
My cashier at TRU told me I could not stack any coupons on top of a price match. The price match is essentially a coupon.
Re: Target
Yup! Once you ask for a price match at TRU, all coupons and promos are void on that same purchase. I couldn't get a free polybag promo that was running at the time.

Re: Target
One of the best sets from the last few years. I bought it purely for parts and figures, then wound up absolutely loving the build.
Severely underrated, and so glorious and swooshable. Everyone needs to own this set.
