Wal Mart Markdowns

Do those of you who frequent these Wal-Marts find that the sales vary from store to store? I went to a few Wal-Marts last week and they had the Sail Barge and Gunship at full price, definitely not for $60. =/

Definitely! None of prices in the last couple of posts are in effect at my Walmart. Some items are still marked (and scan) with clearance prices that are dated from August of last year. Gunship, Sail Barge, and Battle at Black Gate are all at full price. Ugh.

Yep, that's why this is in the "YMMV" (Your Mileage May Vary - meaning, not everyone will have the same results) sales area. Most Walmart sales show up here, as they are not dependable enough to be widely the same.

Found 79002 Lego Hobbit, Attack of the Wargs for $35 MSRP $50 = 30% savings. Also 75015 Lego Star Wars Corporate Alliance Tank Droid for 12$ MSRP $22 = 45% savings.

I found a bunch of Lego project cases at the Brooklyn, CT Wal-Mart for 5 dollars each in the toy clearance aisle. At least 20 were left, maybe more. Red, blue and green cases with a minifig head printed on them with a 10 inch baseplate included.

The number on the back of the package is 499119 but I found few references to them online. I found more simply typing in "Lego project case." These would make cool birthday party favor holders with a poly and some other goodies.

Hit a local Walmart two Saturdays ago for a copy of Veronica Mars. Ended up leaving with two boxes of 75015 Corporate Alliance Tank Droid for $13.00 each.

After looking at four Wal-Marts in my area (including one over the river/ state line) I braved an old Wal-Mart in a bad section of town today. Found a bunch of Hobbit sets (Goblin King, Warg Attack), Vampire Hearsts, and a few Kingdom sets on decent markdowns. Can't decide what I want to pick up.

Went back to make purchases today and found more markdowns.

I got Unexpected Gathering and Recycling Truck for myself. High prices for this police station on Amazon so I got it too and may try to sell on Amazon.

Walmart in Neeton, NJ has a few chima sets marked down a few dollars. They have some clearance toys, but LEGO in that aisle is scanning full price.
