Target Lego sets with Bullseye stickers

Post by bobl » Sun Nov 03, 2013 6:33 am

I noticed just this week that most of the Lego sets that are > $50 now have a Target Bullseye sticker on them. I am not sure if the sticker is a security thing or something else. But I like my Lego boxes in excellent shape, so I don't like this additional sticker randomly placed on the box.
Has anyone else noticed this? And does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Nope, perhaps your store has a theft issue?

I noticed those stickers at one of my stores as well (on the Lone Ranger Silver Mine set). If I recall, it looked like a security sticker to me. I hope its an experiment and they don't put them on all of the high dollar items, as it looks like it would hard to pull off without damaging the box, but its expensive inventory to them, so it wouldn't surprise me.

It says on the sticker that it is a security sticker.
