[CAN] Series 10 spotted at Walmart

Post by hatcher » Fri Apr 19, 2013 9:04 am

Spotted the series 10 minifigures at Walmart today in Barrie, On. Didn't have time to buy any, so I quickly scanned one for price, it said "Please see sales associate for assistance", so they might not be available for sale yet. They had 4 boxes that I could see out.

Good luck finding Mr. Gold! :-D

Yep they are out early at some Walmart as reported. The price should be the usual $3.28.

Spotted at the Walmart in Oshawa, ON yesterday. None in sight today, and was told they had taken them off the shelf because someone hadn't seen the "do not display until May 1st" sign/sticker. They also said they could have been fined $5000...

Really? How about a respond that say, you guys can sell them at your limited locations then. Walmart versus Lego Round two. Also only Lego representative can handle Lego boxes, so, are they going to fine themselves now?

COnsidering making a trip to my local Walmart to check...though I need a bus to get there currently. I normally just go to the Lego Store to do this since they're the same price as any retailer; might as well get some VIP points out of it, but with possibly Mr. Gold and for the sake of getting one of each, I might get them from anywhere...

Got myself 14 of the possible 17...missing the Bumblebee Girl and the Warrior Woman, and of course Mr. Gold. But realistically, still looking for two of them to finish my collection. The Warrior Woman I'll probably find, might be just "competing" against MOC'ers that are looking for females to add to their collection, but the Bumblebee girl I'm guessing for me will be tough...kids (particularly little girls possibly) and women will be looking to get that one (that was the case with the fairy from a few series back).

Had time to kill and went through 8 boxes at WM no Mr. Gold.

Doubt I'll find him

You have to be super lucky to get one by going through 1 or 2 full size 60 bags box. Like someone have already said, the chance get higher the more you go through. But, the way I see it is that someone need to go through at least 10+ boxes just to get a slim chance on finding Mr.Gold.
