Target Valentine Polys

Post by atmail35 » Wed Jan 09, 2013 2:53 pm

I stopped by my Target and they had the Valentine's aisle up and labeled with no product yet. It appears that they will carry:

Legends of Chima #30251 Winzars Pack Patrol DCPI 204-00-0725
Friends Ice Cream Stand #30106 (as reported by The-Daryl here: viewtopic.php?f=36&t=7833" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) DCPI 086-02-1643

Both were labeled as $3.99

I need to head back to try and snag them soon. Happy Hunting!

I've heard rumors of Target having some Chima polybags. Thanks for the confirmation! :-)
Going to pick 'em both up!

So since these are "holiday" polys does that mean they get auto-clearanced on Feb 15th?

I'm sort of surprised they didn't just use that heart and chocolates Friends poly for V-Day (or was that for last year?), because the Ice Cream Stand is more cute/general than something as specific as a holiday (who has ice cream in february? hehe).

The Chima poly is great news. Small animal men are very very romantic and such.

Last year they did clearance the valentine polys up to 90% off. It seems like the current policy is to put the general/non-holiday merchandise back to their proper dept after the holiday. I'm not confident that they will have the polys at a deep discount this year.

Is there a way to search by store to see if the product is available by DCPI #?

I have not seen a good working inventory checker for items not carried on-line. You can either call CS at your store and ask them to check or if you go to the store you could punch in the DPCI at the scanner if it has a numeric keypad. I realize it is easier to see the stock at all stores, but it seems like it might not be available for thse items.

If someone has found the store checker link that works, please post it!

I went back on Sunday and got 2 of the Friends polys, the Chima bin was empty. I'm not sure if it was cleared out or just not filled yet.

Went to two Targets today - both had the Valentine section up, both had the Chima polybag bins empty :(

Woe is me... I might have to go without the magical romance of a little animal man creature for the upcoming holiday!

Same here. I ask one of the workers to see if they had any in back. After scanning the bar code she said they did not have any in stock. About a quarter of the section was empty so I am guessing (and hoping) they have not arrived yet.

I went to four Target stores yesterday looking for the Chima poly and found none, zero, zilch. Two of the stores had the friends bag, if you're looking for that. The last store I went to I got a sales associate to scan the bar code to check if there were any in back, he said they were out and no stores near by had any in stock either. There were no signs of the Chima poly ever being there, you know, the one bag someone opened and left scattered on the display...maybe that's a LA thing.

the Chima #30251 Winzars Pack Patrol polybags are starting to show up on Bricklink,
including in my store. ;)
so y'all might want to check it out again.

for those in austin, tx i found them at the target south store on ben white.
i didn't take too many... the bin is still mostly full.

EDIT: my BL store sold out quickly, but I know y'all will find them at your local target soon.

One of our local Targets had a ton of the Ice cream Stands but no Chima polys. But there was a Batman poly with them so I gladly bought that too.

Yes, the Batmobile. I didn't have it and Target did. Now I have it and they don't
