The Batman and Robin pickable models look kinda cool lol. A fairly simple build, for sure, but at least it's a theme that people will actually enjoy!

Is the Batman logo a sticker?
Re: [US] June 2012 Lego Store Calendar
I'm still not feeling these pickable models. The mini builds are far cooler. I'd rather they had the mini build pieces as the pickables that you could buy from the wall after the initial free ones were given out.

I'd like to know, too. I'm betting it is. Doesn't matter - given my son's rabid interest in superheroes, we're in for at least one of these.Eek wrote:Is the Batman logo a sticker?

Judging by the picture on my calendar, it is a sticker. Notice the different shade of red on Robin, and the edges of the sticker stand out on Batman.melsig wrote:I'd like to know, too. For some reason, my store has these prepacked and won't let you fill the gaps with PAB parts yourself. Are they supposed to work like that at every store?

I believe so. They might use the PAB cups, but these Pick-A-Brick Models are completely separate from the PAB wall.Legobrandon wrote:For some reason, my store has these prepacked and won't let you fill the gaps with PAB parts yourself. Are they supposed to work like that at every store?

^ Essentially making them 'sets that are packaged in PaB cups' as opposed to actual 'Pick-a-Brick models'. As I've said before: Great idea, incredibly poor execution.

^ I couldn't agree more. But for what it's worth, at least the Batman & Robin models will spark some interest in people. Much more so than that ugly bunny and the random artist guy.
