I really want one of these batmans, mainly because I didn't buy a batwing or batmobile to get the black suit batman. The batcave and catwomen both came with grey/blue batman.

All three seem to be out of stock online at the moment...$4.99 is just ridiculous...need to hold out for a TRU sale and hope they are in-store. The City one is cute. Online says "sold in stores" so hopefully we'll see them there soon.

Cheapest way to get a black Batman but otherwise, ho hum

Stop by toys r us here in Maryland to see if they had any in stock but came. Up empty even asked them to check the inventory system but nothing. They could not even check surrounding stores

Checked 1 TRU here in Orange County (Southern California) and no polybags at all except for the Friends one with 1 minifig only. Their shelves were mostly bare still from the 2 weeks of BOGO.

I talked to a manager who looked them up on the computer. The distribution center had over 4,000 and there were none in stock at any stores. He says that they're probably in transit, but didn't know when they'd arrive.

I'm hoping they'll be in after the 24th because I have one more $5 off $25 purchase. It'll help defray the mark-up. I'll probably get 1 Friends and then 5 Batman to get over $25.

I think $4.99 is a perfectly reasonable price. You get a licensed minifigure (worth nearly $10 on the secondary market) and 30 odd parts. I guess there's no pleasing some people.

I wonder whether this will come to Canada. Maybe a 30% chance.

I saw the Friends skateboard set at the Green Bay WI TRU tonight. The tag said something about a promo, so I suspect these will be showing up in stores soon, along with a promo deal of some sort.
