[Canada] ToysRUs has LEGO 2012 January Sets

Spotted some new 2012 LEGO today at the Toys R Us Burnaby, BC location. I noticed they had new City, Creator and Dino sets out. Black Pearl is also there and 20% off from the toy book.

There were no price tags and I didn't scan them so I'm not sure. But I guess no because the Holiday Toy Book only says "Up to 20% off ALL LEGO City".

This is unlikely but hoping Zellers somehow gets them sometime in the coming week as they have a BOGO 50% sale starting this coming Friday...guess I can wait until TRU themselves have a BOGO 50% off sale.

Maybe there is a ToysRUs sale in the coming week on them - 20% off for City will happen again. It's worth the wait for a 25% off sale... especially since the new sets will be around for a while (unless you want to get them immediately).

^^ Zellers is usually slow on stocking new toys or lego for that matter. But sometimes you'd be surprise they got something new and interesting on the shelves.

^Yeah wait for BOGO1/2 any ways the new city vehicles are $25 MSRP for Canada

If you do plan on getting the sets at Toys R Us and planning to spend $50, you should buy something now to get the $10 Savings Card (for use later when you spend $50).

You can buy something small like a series minifigure.

Was just in the new Burlington TRU and they didn't have any 2012 sets on the shelves... was hoping to pick up a small dino set for my son.

One thing I did notice was that they were selling the 2012 Bricktober figures for 2.99 each - they had some of each one. Since they are glued, I wasn't interested but just in case someone is, there you go...

Haven't seen them at TRU yet, although I've only been to the Markville location thus far. Only place I've seen them is at the Lego Store at Fairview.

Unless I'm blind my local ToysRUs (Barrie) did not have any of the new sets as of end of last week.

Yup - the good stuff comes in January... same as the Kingdom Joust set.

They might sneak it in a couple of weeks early but none yet.

I'm actually quite suprised how the West side of Canada gets it first this time. Usually, Ontario gets all the new stuff first because most of the warehouses are there.

Was at the Vaughan Mills mall in Vaughan just north of Toronto yesterday afternoon. The ToysRUs there had the full line of DINO LEGO sets already. Look pretty neat! Now they just have to put them on sale
