Barnes and Noble listing new product...error?

Post by pumbaugh » Tue Sep 20, 2011 5:17 pm

If you were wondering what prices for the new wave are gonna look like you can head over to bn.com and search for LEGO....then sort newest to oldest ;) It lists virtually all the new sets coming out and their price points....even has the generic listing for the DC sets. Remember these are 10% below what retail will be since its a preorder....also note that when you click on any of them it gives you an error ;) But it does give you the names and price points of almost all the new sets on the way...looks like the x-wing won't be an exclusive this time around!

Wow, lots of stuff on there. At first I browsed to LEGO within the Toys and Games department and it didn't show, had to search from the top of the site. Sounds like they have the Creator set names on there too.

The heck are these:
Princess 1, Princess 2... Princess 4
Kokoriko (must be Ninjago because of the number)
The Flying Dutchman 3817 - hmm $22... if it's POTC, must be a small micro set of some sort...
Samurai - 9566 $8 - A minifig? A bionicle?

I don't see any interesting Pirates or Castle/Kingdoms stuff in there. Too bad, those are my main themes.

Someone should copy these down before they disappear... I have to run though.

Princess is a new Duplo line based on Disney characters.

Flying Ductman is a new SpongeBob set.

The January Shop at Home exclusive will be a castle set. The new Castle sets come in the summer.

Too bad B&N won't allow a pre-order for those items yet.

The Flying Dutchman is listed in the unknown section on the main page but it is a Spongebob set.

Does anyone have an flickr links to post here so we can see the new sets.

I like the new bear that comes with the police station. also the new theme "Friends", looks great. does anyone have any pictures they can share with us? will they work with minifigures? or it is it another one of those special lines? Mini figures are soooo much better than that other stuff they try to pass on us and call them lego figures..

The Friends sets are made up of regular LEGO pieces, but the figures are a bit bigger than the standard mini-fig.

well, that is disappointing... I had hoped for so much more.. can you show us any pictures of the actual sets so we can see for ourselves if it will still be worth buying for the pieces? maybe you can show us a picture of the house?

Front page has been updated with some minor corrections. Thanks everyone for the heads up. Was very sleepy posting the list last night and it took me forever (several hours) to type them all up.

Discussion topics for each theme with direct links are available below. Please continue the theme discussions in these forums. For discussions regarding Barnes & Nobles, feel free to continue discussing about it here. You may also have noticed that some of the posts in this topic have been moved there as well.

As in what they are or pricing? No pricing, but they are here:

Guys, please note that the Barnes and Noble listings for the 2012 sets have been taken down! They are no longer available for pre-order. It was probalby a glithc in theri system that they were listed so early. Anyway, it was nice to see the list at least for a little while! :problem:
