I tried to do a search on Bricktober and didn't see this posted. So hopefully I'm not reposting.

The more important question is, what are the sales!

Are these magnets only available at TRU or will legostores also receive them?

Are these figures going to be super glued or do they only do that to the licensed theme magnets?
I love the Forestman, the classic castle soldier, and the classic space man. How can I resist 10 each of them? (If they are unglued.)

I'm sure one of the sale weeks will be Buy 2 Get 1 Free.

The sales were pretty weak last year if I remember correctly, and last year they were not glued. Hard to say what lego will do this year, but I have a feeling(and a hope) they wont be glued.

That's good to know. At least there's some hope they won't be glued.

But I'm of the opposite opinion. I think they will probably be glued, because in the past year, TLG has started gluing together all the keychains and magnets. We shall see.

The only reason I think they might not be is because they come in a polybag as opposed to a plastic package.

What kind of sales did they offer last year so we can get an Idea of what we're looking for this time... and to avoid buying certain sets now....
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

And they were also disassembled, weren't they?

If I remember correctly they started out with a good sale, say bogo 50% but excluded certain themes. Then it just went to certain sets discounted every other week. I was underwhelmed by the sales as I only got one of the 4 bricktober magnets last year....I'm a sucker for minifigs and polybags so if I only have one the sales must have been mostly city/hero factory/ninjago stuff that I dont have much interest in lol.

They probably have different sales in different countries, but the sales in Canada were quite good last year (for Canada). There were tiered 15/20/25% off sales on Creator and Kingdoms, 20% off Technic, and some others. Those sales are why I haven't bought any of the 2011 Creator (yellow box) or Technic (except Supercar and Unimog) sets. Even if I could get a better deal than 25% off Canadian MSRP, I need some Bricktober minifig ammunition!
