2010 Winter Discontinued & Sold Out LEGO Sets

Post by locutis » Thu Nov 11, 2010 10:14 am

I was just checking the Lego.com S@H site, and they list the Creator Family Home (Set #6754) as sold out!

In my opinion this was one of the better creator homes they released, not as good as the Model Town House (#4954) but still a very attractive set!

Get it while you can!!!

Also sold out on Toysrus.com. I'm pretty sure TRU.com had it in stock as of last week. Target.com still has it!

Nice! About time they retire that set, if their being sold out truly means that it is retired. But I fell for that the last time it was sold out.

Should be gone for good now though when you consider how long it has been available. Gorgeous set!

I am glad that I got the Green Grocer about 1.5 months at my local Lego store here in Chandler, AZ. Anyone have any ideas if they will phase out Fire Brigade next year?

Hey, thanks for the heads-up, I just ordered two from toysrus.ca. It is, in my opinion, the best modular building yet, so having multiples would be nice. Or I could sell it for a profit  and put the money towards the Cafe Corner that I missed.

According to Brickset.com, it came out in Sept 2009, so I would say it will likely be available until late 2011. That's if it follows the approximate two year lifespan of Lego's other big sets.

Post by ncbarrett » Tue Nov 16, 2010 9:01 am

The Kingdoms Advent Calendar is sold on on lego.com
My guess is, they won't have anymore online.
Get it at lego B&M stores while you still can.

FYI, advent calendar is sold out almost everywhere now. Walmart, zellers, chapters, lego, or even tru doesn't have it. You'll be lucky to find it at tru and get it on sale 2 for $60.

Didn't lego used to make tons of these? I remember two years ago, legoshop still had stock after christmas. The calendars were then clearanced for half price in january, then 75% off later in the month. Last year, the calendars were sold out before christmas. But in janaury, they still did have a couple left for half price.

Grand Carousel... Going, Going, Gone!

Post by aaronptrck » Mon Nov 29, 2010 10:15 pm

Almost replicating gabriellee11's post... Looks like LEGO has discontinued the ever expensive carousel.

Sitting in my front room now... While it's a beautiful set... it was one of the most boring sets I've put together. One things for sure... this set's price will go through the roof on eBay!

I never buy sets this big, mostly because of the price tag. It would have been nice had I been richer, but I'd rather get some other stuff
