i bet its a mark up from $30.

And now I guess I'm wrong when the $34.99 price tag is at lego stores too.

My post news is more about Kingdoms advent calendar since there were speculations that it was going to be available only Europe or just UK (based on toywiz.com, read the description on the link).

And let me remind you of previous theme advent calendars:

2008 Castle advent calendar - released in the US for a limited time
2009 Pirates advent calendar - not released in the US, just Europe or UK only.

So, it is nice to see a theme advent calendar back into the US. (The 2008 castle advent calendar was available in the US until November 7)

Can confirm there were some at the Lego store in Ontario, CA. I picked up one there for my kid...now the hardest part will be keeping it a surprise until December.

LEGO store at Mall of America in MN has both the City and Kingdom advent calenders in stock.
