Those figures are incredible. $2 each is a bit cheaper than i thought but with them being randomized... its going to really frustrate those that want a particular figure.

I think you may be able to feel the parts inside the bag and can then buy which one's you want.legogeek wrote:Those figures are incredible. $2 each is a bit cheaper than i thought but with them being randomized... its going to really frustrate those that want a particular figure.

I like numbers 12 and 16 because I can use them to make Lego BORG minifigs!

I heard from another site that the packaging will be good and you won't be able to feel the pieces which means its totally randomized.

Thanks for the pics. Is there one for the cheerleader?
Re: 2010 LEGO 8683 Collectible Minifigures
I'm starting to wonder if these minifigures are regular quality like the ones you get in a lego set or the cheap plastic ones in the magnets.

Besides healthy inherent skepticism, what makes you think these will be the cheap kind?
Re: 2010 LEGO 8683 Collectible Minifigures
You never know but there is a possibility. We all thought the removeable magnets are like regular minifigures. But when they actually came out, they were a cheaper quality.Blacknight wrote:Besides healthy inherent skepticism, what makes you think these will be the cheap kind?

^ It seems like the only times we get cheap minifigs is when they're pre-built like in chess, tic tac toe, magnets, etc. It's unlikely they would put pre-built minifigs in that kind of packaging, so I would guess high quality.

Re: 2010 LEGO 8683 Collectible Minifigures
Does anyone know if its possible to purchase the entire set with all the minifigures or do we have to purchase all of them randomly?
Re: 2010 LEGO 8683 Collectible Minifigures
I assume you will have to purchase them separately.happyfeet56 wrote:Does anyone know if its possible to purchase the entire set with all the minifigures or do we have to purchase all of them randomly?
The packaging looks like thisEddy976 wrote:I heard from another site that the packaging will be good and you won't be able to feel the pieces which means its totally randomized.

It comes with a nice little poster too

Re: 2010 LEGO 8683 Collectible Minifigures
From the packaging, it looks like you may be able to feel the pieces in there afterwards. Or is there some sort of substances inside that prevents that? Nice poster.
Re: 2010 LEGO 8683 Collectible Minifigures
I think I'll just wait a year, and I know darn well I'll get a few in some of the lots I buy. People always throw in minifigs. I mean I can wait for a while. As AWESOME as they are, I'd rather wait so I don't have to pay a premium for em :)
Re: 2010 LEGO 8683 Collectible Minifigures
Big Bad Toy Store has them for pre-order at $2.99 each. Europe will get them may 1st at argos.

They are also revealing more confidental images on their site like atlantis and kingdoms with prices. All their prices however seems higher than msrp.

LEGO has unveiled their microsites for the collectible minifig series, in three flavors:
US: http://minifigures.lego.com/en-US/Default.aspx
UK: http://minifigures.lego.com/en-gb/Default.aspx
German: http://minifigures.lego.com/de-DE/Default.aspx
The write-ups for each are funny. I'm really getting psyched for these. Do you think it would make sense to grab a case and do some sort of online trading circle?

Good find. Just how much longer till they become available in US is uncertain now.
Re: 2010 LEGO 8683 Collectible Minifigures
Thanks for the news. An online trading circle would definately work. I'll try to setup another poll soon to see if there is enough interest.vynsane wrote:LEGO has unveiled their microsites for the collectible minifig series, in three flavors:
