Product Description from Lego.com:
The box is small and compact (5.5 wide by 4.75 tall) and has the Cars 2 and Disney logo on the frontReturn to Radiator Springs and show off for the fans!
Lightning McQueen is back in the Radiator Springs circuit where he won the famous Piston Cup trophy. The crowds are gathered to cheer their champion. Show them just how fast Lightning McQueen can be!
- Features Radiator Springs Lightning McQueen
- Includes orange cone
- Build a classic Disney/Pixar Cars™ star!
- Measures over 3” (7cm) long and 1” (2cm) wide
The back of the box shows all the elements:
There are two bags, one for the smaller elements. The instruction booklet is folded and almost the size of the box so it was in perfect condition.
Like Mater, there are no stickers and all pieces are printed. However there are NO spare parts w. McQueen. The piece count is low because many of the elements are larger. It does feature thinner tires and red rims.
The set only takes minutes to build and is very basic.
The spoiler does move up and down but the rear end view is kind of boring:
The orange cone is fun and is larger than I had expected:
Here are McQueen and Mater together and the car on the right is a diecast version so the scale is fairly accurate:
Pros: Vibrant colors and nice printed elements
Thin tires and red rims
The orange cone is fun.
Sturdy and should hold up to play
Cons: price per piece is high.
Quick build that might not be challenging for some.
Conclusion: The price for this set is high but overall I believe Lego did a nice job replicating McQueen. For the Cars movie lover this really is a nice set. Although perhaps Lego could have thrown in a few cones ;)
