Product Description from Lego.com:
Hit the road to take on anything with Classic Mater!
Help out in the pits! Tow your friends out of trouble! Solve a top-secret spy mystery! Mater is always ready for action. Take him around town and to take on any challenge.
- Features Classic Mater
- Build a classic Disney/Pixar Cars™ star!
- Measures over 3” (7cm) long and 2” (5cm) wide
The box is small and compact (5.5 wide by 4.75 tall) and has the Cars 2 and Disney logo on the frontImage

The back of the box shows all the elements:

There are two bags, one for the smaller elements. The instruction booklet is folded and almost the size of the box so it was in perfect condition.

There NO stickers and all the pieces are printed. These are the more interesting elements, in my opinion. There are two 2x4 printed bricks. The bottom row features the "spare" parts. So as you can see if you wanted, you can have to headlights and two lights on top.

My 6 year old daughter built Mater very quickly. It definitely is an easy build but it is very cute! Here is Mater in his glory.

The back bumper even has the signature A113 Pixar "inside joke" on Mater's license plate (although covered w. mud).

And picture of the "actual" Mater when we were in Disney World:

Pros: adorable and fun for any Cars loving fan!
The front wheels are thinner than the back which is a neat feature.
Tires feature brown rims.
All printed elements, no stickers.
Seems sturdy and good for play.

Cons:
price per piece is high and obviously there are no minifigs.

Conclusion: This really is a must for any fan of Cars. When Lego released the original Duplo Cars sets I was hoping they would also release "regular" sets. I really am not disappointed and my Cars loving daugher thinks it is great.

It's a better set than the other one I'd say, pretty much everything is printed, but eeeh the low piece amount is throwing me off.

Nice review. I like these cars 2 toys with printed pieces. The piece count is to low. I'd rather get this with the LEGO Flo V8 set.
I love collecting LEGO cars 2 toys. My favorite is Classic Mater.

Thanks for the review. I bought this set last week with McQueen. I think this is the better of the two sets with more parts. Box is still too big for what little parts you get but I guess for $7, you better get a decent size box. This would be perfect for a smaller box or a polybag. The printing is great. This was targeted for younger kids.
