That's beautiful. I loved the dinosaurs, now I'm upset they were never on sale around here like they were elsewhere.

That is simply amazing. The scenes within the scenes are all incredible. How long did it take you to acquire all the dino figures?

Wow! Love the light brick (lava) in cave and the Stampede. Looks amazing. I've gotta pick up a raptor before they disappear.

I apologize to everyone for failing to respond to your questions and comments in a timely manner. I didn't have email notifications set up correctly, and as a result, I didn't realize that new comments had been made in this thread.

To answer your questions and points that were raised:
Hope it survived the floods!!!
Yes, it survived the flood in Calgary. My house wasn't impacted at all, but my brother had 6.5 feet of water in his basement :(
How long did it take you to acquire all the dino figures?
I started out by buying just a couple of the dino sets. Once it became apparent that the idea was going to work, I bought a bunch more. Most of the Coelophysis (the small ones stampeding through the canyon) were purchased from Bricklink as just the dinosaur. All of the other dinosaurs were purchased as complete sets, and in every case they were either purchased on sale or in the US to reduce the price a bit. I'd guess that the total time from when I bought the first dinosaur to the last one was about the same as the building time -- 4 months.
Love the light brick (lava) in cave
The light under the lava is the one thing that isn't actually Lego. I used a night light because I didn't have a Lego light that was bright enough (the light bricks probably would have worked, but they are battery powered, and I wanted something that would plug in for when it was on display for hours at a time at shows). If I were to build Lava like that again I'd use Power Functions LEDs, but I didn't own any of those when I did the dinosaur build.

Thanks for all of your comments, and again, I'm sorry I didn't do a better job responding to them in a timely manner.
