[MOC] A working document shredder!

Post by BrickWild » Sun Jun 13, 2010 12:59 am

This is a working confidential document shredder. It is based off the one that I use at work. It DOES NOT actually shred stuff, like the real thing. Although it HAS rotating 'shredding blades'! It is powered by a 9v cubic motor. The collection compartment door opens to allow the collection box to be emptied! The top is removable to reveal the blades! PS: the lever on the side is the 'oiler'! :P

And here's a pic of the real thing! It is an MBM Corperation 'Ideal' Destroyit 4107.

Wow, why would you want to shred an entire book? That's a really mean looking paper shredder! Any particular reason for the change in colors? I really like this creation. You should make the paper slot minifigure size just in case you become particularly cruel.

Playing with LEGO when I can. Where does the time go?

I know it supposed to be white like the real thing, but I haven't enough white elements!
It's a bit big for Technic Figure scale! :?
Last year, my workplace, Barkuma decided to do business with Veolia's Confidential Destruction Services.
