LEGO Ideas Spotlight
LEGO Ideas Spotlight
I thought it would be good to create a topic to highlight CUUSOO projects that you like.
That way maybe we can generate some support for non-licensed themed sets.
Here is one I liked:

Re: CUUSOO Projects
Good call on a 'CUUSOO Compendium' topic.
I'd like to see what happens when Space Marines reaches the big 10k, in light of the "anti-violence" stance of the last two rejections. The design is fantastic, and the violence is, I think, cartoony enough - but we'll see.
I also started a separate topic here about the UCS Lightsaber series idea by scott34567. They're really the bees knees, and since the SW license already exists, it's probably more possible than other licensed ideas.

Re: CUUSOO Projects
Great idea! Here is a labyrinth ball maze that I think is well worth voting for: http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/14605
And the modular western town: http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/1787 which only needs about 700 more votes

Re: CUUSOO Projects
I really like this idea, it is kind of a modular zoo! Sets would each be an animal enclosure I really like the design and it would put all the lego animals to good use! [link removed]

Only the stair car was submitted for the project but it is part of a much larger arrested development set, simply awesome http://www.iwatchstuff.com/2012/05/arre ... embled.php

I agree with you. That one is awesome. I would definitely buy that one if it becomes a set.nick91884 wrote:http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/65#Okay so I found my new favorite cuusoo project

We are students of computer sciences and we are testing out a business idea for school project. Our idea is selling LEGO plans on a mobile platform. We appreciate your input.

Re: CUUSOO Projects
I have a lot of favorites and have talked about a lot of them in my blogs on The Brick Blogger. Here's my profile and all my blogs are at the bottom, look for any with CUUSOO in the title: http://thebrickblogger.com/contributors/sarah-reed/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
A new project that I've found is based on my favorite movie: Princess Bride: http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/16456" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: LEGO Ideas Spotlight
Now that LEGO Cuusoo has been transformed into LEGO Ideas, with the 1-year time limit imposed, I thought we might as well resurrect this topic and lobby for our favorite projects some more.
LEGO Lightsabers: Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker
This project has been in it for the log haul, and now has over 8,500 supporters. I would hate to see it languish through the next year. Originally a larger collection of multiple "UCS Lightsaber Hilts", scott34567 narrowed the focus to just replicas of Darth Vader's and Luke Skywalker's Lightsaber hilts when Cuusoo revised their guidelines for submissions. Go support it if you've not already!

Re: LEGO Ideas Spotlight
With this new dedicated forum, I'm going to close this topic and start curating a series of topics where we can discuss our favorite projects within particular themes (that I am sort of making up as we go along, since there's no definitive categorization of projects).
