Star Wars MOC: Luxury Landspeeder

Post by brickster90 » Fri May 27, 2011 11:36 am

After disassembling my starfighter, I got the itch to build something else - and I ended up building a landspeeder. I figured this is what a rich person would own, sort of a sports car version of a landspeeder on Tatooine or another planet. I didn't give it a name because it's more like a car than a spaceship, and I don't know anyone who named their car (with the exclusion of Guerrero from Human Target and his 'Eldo'). So, here's my luxury landspeeder:

I added the control and computer because a steering wheel alone didn't seem sufficient for this vehicle.

And I also built it with functional doors!

And here's how I built 'em.

For the engines, I decided to make the middle engine on the same level as the others to preserve the streamlined look.

Here's a size comparison between the luxury landspeeder and a poor farm boy's.

And that's all, folks! Hope you enjoy it and might be inspired yourself.

Very cool - this must be the XP-38 that made the X-34 lose value on the aftermarket ;)

The speeder looks good and its color is quiet matching to Separatist AAT. Nice to see parts reuse from "Buzz's Star Command Spaceship". Keep up the good work.

Nice MOC - I like colors you used and also make me think it could be a prequel version of a land speeder...
