hello from the pacific northwest

Post by C&T » Sat Sep 28, 2013 1:22 pm

i'm new here !!! LOL

this is my 3rd run at legos, 1st a kiddo (long time ago), 2nd time started several years ago as buying 1 or 2 small star wars sets, then eventually spending about $1500 on a huge pile of plastic making lots of space ships, space cars & then selling the pile for $250.

This 3rd time I'm hoping I learned from my prior mistakes LOLOL and did much looking at amazon before buying 10 city sets (& that's it no more $$ for legos) for a small table-top hobby to build cars & trucks, note the handle :)

here are 2 pics & I'll post more as I build some things. Now I want to look at the lego city models for awhile, they are actually quite good

heh after more looking at the city models & planning some new 6 wheeler cars, I ordered 2 more sets because I only had 4 wheels of the medium & big sizes. Absolutely this time no more spending $$ !! I need to control this hobby much tighter than last time...

Anyway here are some wheel sizes for city sets. amazon website can magnify set pic by moving mouse over

common most sets 4431 4434 60016 etc
13/16" tall x 1/2" wide

medium 2 sets? 4433 60012
15/16 x 1/2

big 2 sets? 4437 60007
20/16 x 9/16

small 60025
11/16 x 1/4

smaller 4433
9/16 x 1/4

the common & medium wheels use same axle piece, big/small/smaller all have their own axles. the wheelwell pieces for common & medium/big wheels are different
