How about some polar bears with the new bear mold? I'm excited for this.

Re: City Arctic Sets
Looking forward to checking out some of these Arctic sets as well, definitely a theme with a lot of potential!
Re: City Arctic Sets
They might use the CITY forest set bear mold with white plastic to get a polar bear.
Can't wait to see what the trains look like.

Re: City Arctic Sets
Here are the supposed number of pieces to give you an idea about the sizes of the sets!
Polar Snowmobile - 44 pieces
Polar Tracked Vehicle - 113 pieces
Polar Lift Helicopter - 262 pieces
Polar Research Station - 374 pieces
Polar Base Camp - 733 pieces
I was hoping the base camp would be a little bigger of a set, but I am really looking forward to this theme. Hopefully I can finally get that LEGO Polar Bear I have always wanted. :)

We will get pictures within the next 6 weeks because of the Toy fairs.

Looking forward to see what the trains look like. Artic sets sound interesting, too.
Re: City Arctic Sets
Sounds like the artic sets they had years ago. I still have the artic set similar to a base camp theme. It was a set that my children always liked. Wonder if it will be the same like they did with the city coast guard sets re-released.

Those sets looked cool. I would like to see them re-released and updated also.zztoy wrote:Sounds like the artic sets they had years ago. I still have the artic set similar to a base camp theme. Re: City Arctic Sets
The current pictures leaked online are so incredibly bad that they aren't really even worth looking at.

Re: City Arctic Sets
Good pictures. And probably the best sub theme of the year so far...

Re: City Arctic Sets
booooo, I was hoping the dog sled team would be available as a separate set. Sort of a build-your-army type of deal.
Re: City Arctic Sets
Good looking sets. I didn't get the last arctic subtheme way back when, but I did get the Ice Planet sets (and I kind of wish they would reincarnate that theme) and I have a general interest in winter/arctic themes so these all look good to me. The Polar Bear and Sled Dogs are a nice touch, and there appear to be plenty of figures. Now to round up more orange so I can expand that base and decide which figure (probably a Chima figure) gets to be The Thing.Brick & Blue wrote:Good pictures.
