Looks nice but for $50 I want a real boat. However if the trend continues I'll be able to find this for $35 right before the movie comes out. :)

I really like the new minifigs of Bard, Master of Lake Town (Stephen Fry), the guard, and the dark brown pieces. But at 334 pieces it would take a lot of these sets to make a town.

Nice set but not for $49.99. I'd say at $39-44 MSRP and then only at 15-20% off. Not many parts for a $50 set.

On other forums it has been posted (rumoured) that there are a total of four new Hobbit sets coming. Of course completed details have been posted for the Lake Town Chase set.
