All I can say is, that thing better retail for $53,352.00 or I'm not buy it.

I'll wait for the sale to $49,999.99, however it's probably a TRU exclusive, so with the Star Wars and TRU tax who knows how much this set will cost. ;)

I'm kind of disappointed by this, I was hoping for the Ewok village!

Wow, you guys really expect a major discount! I think at average retail price, it should be around $530,000, and that's if Lego is feeling reasonable . I also wish there was another announcement regarding upcoming sets, but this is enjoyable to look at though :).

size X-wing (9493) set. There will only be 1,000 available. I will post pictures
shortly.

edit: Yoda minifigure (GWP) looks like the one pictured above with the NY t-shirt.

I'am planning to MOC it after purchase to incorporate a nice working space / lounge in the cockpit and possibly a stand to make it dynamic. Unfortunately the retail model has fixed wings, need to automate that next

If anyone living near Times Square would pick me up one of those Yoda's along with the set, I would gladly reimburse you! They're going for $250 on eBay, which is a little steep for my likings. :(

I managed to get them to price-match and give me the Yoda figure, but it wasn't easy. At first they would honor the online price at the TRU site, but not the Yoda figure. Then they tried to tell me it was an 'online only' price, by citing (but not thoroughly reading) the online Man of Steel LEGOized poster offer:

Online Only! FREE LEGO Super Heros Man of Steel Poster (6.99 value) with your LEGO purchase of $49.99 or more!

Then I had a heart-to-heart with the manager that I was a loyal customer who has purchased tons of CMFs at that location, and if there was anything she could do. Finally she told me to go to the counter downstairs, and they would honor the pricematch AND the Yoda promo. Don't know why I had to go down there, maybe it's a lower profile counter, so not as many people would see me "getting away with it".

That said, now that I've made myself a little conspicuous, I don't know if they'd take to kindly to me picking additional ones up for others...
