LEGO Yoda Chronicles Souvenir 2013 Promotional Set

Gameinformer and Idlehands are reporting that they have received a Souvenir Yoda Chronicles LEGO Star Wars Promotional set. The set was give to select webmasters and journalists and is an exclusive teaser for the event in New York next week. It will not be available for sale at the retail level. Contains 408 pieces and 3 minifigures.

The set was given as celebration for "The Yoda Chronicles" Premiere (be sure to check out Cartoon Network on May 29th, 2013). In addition, they will also be having a huge LEGO Star Wars event on thursday, May 23 at New York Times Square. There will be a big unveiling at 11am! (via Brickset)

That is an exciting thought. I hope you are right. This ewok village has been rumored for almost a year now. It has been a long time in coming. A unveiling in Times Square during the yoda chronicles event means the set should be as epic as I hoped!

It doesn't. It says something about unveiling the biggest build they have ever done. It's not the village. I will be there Thursday and will be posting pictures.

I'll do my best to get to Times Sq. on Thursday. I work just blocks away, so it shouldn't be that difficult (assuming I'm not too busy).

I wonder if it will be very crowded (I mean, other than how Times Sq. is usually) - don't know how much this type of info is getting around.

Meanwhile, Brickshelf user jamie75 has posted an LDD file of the promotional model in question. Other than the padawan minifigure, it should be relatively easy to reproduce.

I saw that padawan learner fig and it makes me wonder if we will get more Coruscant sets in the nearish future. I'm still hoping other sets might connect using the available connector holes in Palpatines Arrest.
