I hope they are. A lot of the figures just seem like flat out disappointments and complete repeats of other characters already in existence. Compare it to Series 1 where practically everything seemed completely new.

I just took a peek of the image. It is quiet disappointed. Most of them are not outstanding. For example, the alien comes from the idea of Space Police. The tennis lady does not look good at all (much worst than the life guard or singer from CMS2), the hairpiece is ugly, too. The fishman is like Santa Claus taking a summer break. If anyone who don't like "Disco DJ" from CMS2, then he/she must hate the street boy. The gorilla is like half human and half animal, it is weird to add human legs to animal body. And the rest ........I could spend 1/2 hr to complain.

If this is the final version, I would be upset to take them home. However, if I pass this set, I am sure I would feel uncomfortable for not having the full collection. :|

By the way, could anyone tell me what is the "mummy" holding? Holding something that is reddish or brown?

I am curious how could Spartan be linked to LOTR? Which character in LOTR is related to Spartan? :?: I just watched the trilogy once, I could not think of the connection.

Or are you just using Spartan's part to build the army?

I hear you about the premium prices - I missed the boat on series 1 - I only found them once at a local store because T R U had them under lock and key due to theft. I'm in a small city with 2 T R U's in the area and several other stores that have had them so all the families I know have had a chance to grab a few for their kids. Of course my lego fever may have infected them a bit ;)
Strangely enought I drove to Annapolis to get Series two, and the whole box had been stolen. But low and behold...they had several unpicked through boxes of series one, and this was only a week and a half ago
Uh...any left over? Which store?

I don't know if any are left, It was 20 days ago. But it was the TRU across the street from Annapolis Mall. I bought 22 out of the 300 they had for sale.

Post by Legoliner Pilot » Wed Oct 06, 2010 6:13 pm

If you click the link below you will see a preliminary version of Series 4 Collectible minifgures on the left. It is obviously preliminary: The figs on the box are from Series 2, but we do know that the packaging and case will be orange. Click the link below to see the picture.

The pics on the left are Series 3 - there's nothing to note on CMFs4 yet, other than the fact that there will BE a series 4, so I'm merging this into the CMFs3 topic.
