Looks awesome!

I agree, wish the pics were in higher res, and like someone mentioned in the other thread, not overjoyed on another 3 duplicate minis. (Especially since this will obviously be a higher priced/end set).

That's quite the set for a ship that gets all of about 45 seconds of screen time in the original movie (a fair amount more in the extended editions, I know). In the books, the action with them takes place entirely off scene.

I feel the same way. But lego loves their ships, don't they. Kinda disappointed the dead figures aren't translucent plastic like they were in the game. Well, maybe they will at Toy Fair.

Hopefully, the do the three dead figures in glow-in-the-dark like the monster hunter series.

If the ship's hull floats - I'll get one since it look big enough (23.5 inches) to automate and motorize.

Where's the complaint or whining, other than from you? I actually quite like the set, Mr. Internet tough guy.

Rivendell (much more than just the Council of Elrond)
Isengard (UCS?!)
Lothlorien (a home among trees)
Minas Tirith (lots to do here)
Bree (hotel + bar, not just another Barrel Escape)
Hobbiton (Bilbo's house is amazing, I want more)
Fangorn Forest (Where's the Ents?)
Pelennor Fields (Elephants!)
Dead Marshes (I would not complain)
Edoras (why not?)

I will still pick up this set or two, but it will be low priority. Compare to Helm's Deep: I think I bought 6 main sets and about 22 of the Uruk hai Armies plus 14 of the Uruk hai polys.

I do buy some sets for resell, but I think I will end up using all or most of these as I love the Battle of Helm's Deep.

With Eomer, you can pretend he's a normal good guy. Helps if you remove the cape. The printed helmet is nice but sticks out. You can use normal Castle helmets to down play his character.

I have no time or space to build any big project, so all this just gets stored. :\
