More great shopping news. This site is really on the ball for this stuff. I'm not too thrilled personally for the Kingdoms sets. They just aren't very original. I guess the thrill of the mandatory catapult/tower/jail/castle is getting to me.

the battle packs look rather nice...especially the dragon knights set.

and Yeah I do agree. I think what would be nice is if lego castle incorporated serfs/peasants into their sets. I personally think it would add more playability

The Medieval Market seems like their holy grail of an answer but its just not enough. Even incorporating one or two figs in a few sets would make all the difference. LEGO appears to step over a huge part of actual medieval history: the feudal system. Yeah it was horrible but most people that served the kings (and there were a lot of kings) were not soldiers full time. Most people were peasant farmers all the time except for war. I would love to see a medieval farm once in a while.

Ya, but LEGO is a child's toy and children find knights and soldier far more fun to play with than serfs and peasants. I don't think there are many children interested in recreating the feudal system.

I like the new enemies dragon. Did anyone notice they are almost the same except for their colours and their logo?

I don't know... somehow I missed their release date (here in Greece) or they never came (which is rather rare from happening.)
