LEGO Star Wars Battle of Hoth Set 75014
Kez writes in to inform us that of a new LEGO Star Wars 2013 set - 75014 The Battle of Hoth. This set contains 7 minifigures including a Tauntaun and a Probe Droid This set doesn't seem too new as its just basically combining (with some modifications) 8084 Snowtrooper Battle Pack, 7749 Echo Base and taking the Snowspeeder from 8089 Wampa Cave. As reported over at Hoth Bricks, these images are taken from the Russian retailer exoforce.ru.

Boring!!!
Don't we already have all these parts? Seems like a couple sets combined.

A bit disappointed because it's a rehash of Wampa Cave and Echo Base. I guess I'll just treat it like 2 army packs with a tauntaun.

I guess this means we can expect a new AT-AT next summer.

I really hope they're re-releasing the AT-AT. Missed out on the previous 3 since I was still in my dark ages. That thing is the last thing I need to complete my hoth collection.

Agreed this is a rehash, but it's a decent set to expand your hoth scene. Minus Luke and Taun Taun, the rest is battle pack expansion material.
I was close to getting echo base, but I only really wanted the Taun Taun. I may get this instead on sale if it's a $40-$50 set.
Definitely will get any new AT-ATs as I have none.

Don't you think it's a fake?
Price listed on that site is 99.999 rubles which is over $3000. Some retailers in Russia occasionally post fake sets for sale.

If this is true, I'm so happy cause now I won't miss out on those cool tan rebel trooper! You guys need to take into consideration that not everyone had the same dark age.

I love Hoth, and the last snowspeeder is one of the only Star wars sets I have bught in 10 years.
That said this is useless! It's like City Police sets.

I wish they would make half the number of sets based on the forest moon of endor as they make sets based on hoth.
I do like the probe droid.

I like the probe droid. Lego keeps selling me on new sets because of the minifigures with the new pilots and who is that General Riekan? They must know I'm a collector and crazy for all of it.

Why are there two Luke Skywalkers (the lightsaber gives it away) in the second image?

Re: LEGO Star Wars Battle of Hoth Set 75014
Agreed, the last AT-AT went EOL long before I emerged from my Dark Ages. I've amassed thousands in lego in the past 9 months, a mix of stuff for me, my 3 1/2 yr old son, and to resell. I like a lot of the SW sets I've got, but I seriously want an AT-AT AND a Snow Speeder!wastedbrain wrote:I really hope they're re-releasing the AT-AT. Please TLG, help a brother out...
PS anyone else's wife think they're crazy? Ive got over 100 unopened boxes in my basement...

Yes, my wife has thought I'm crazy for years. I collect Star Wars stuff too, but have been recently been stocking up for my 4 year old son.
