I love your Jazz musician idea - a sax would be freakin awesome! Being a former drummer, I am desperate for drumsticks! A modern naval officer would be cool too!

I'd love to see some children minifigs. Maybe one with a tiny doll or teddy bear, another with a box of Legos like in the recent semi trucks.
I think a babysitter with a baby would be awesome too!
How about a turn of the century striped suit gentleman with a straw hat - think Bert in Mary Poppins.
From one blockhead to another, play well!

I built an almost Christopher Walken minifig using this minifig and the hair from the Karate Master from CMF2.

That is my favorite minifig EVAR. Including the Robo Attack set and BL purchases, I have one full version of that fig, plus three more of that head and one more of that torso.

How about a set of Ghostbusters figs - especially cartoon Egon's hair, Janine the receptionist AND Slimer.

I do, though I'm not sure if that guys' head conveys the Chris Walken I would want to create - he's too happy for my vision.

That minifig head does have two faces. The other one isn't happy.

I'm so pschyed! I finally say the preview pic and description and I actually pegged 3 of them. I feel almost smartish to been on track with some of the great minds at Lego. Horray for the ELF!!!, tennis, and baseball player minifigs. I guess wishes do come true : )
legomandan wrote:You really got me thinking - I love your bowler hat and chrome knight ideas!

Here are a few more I came up with -
- Picnic guy with 5 o'clock shadow and beer belly with a can of soda (Or any other new food!)
- Waitress with a new hair style (loving all the new hair pieces) and a plate of food
- Golfer with lots of plaid and a golf club
- Tennis player with racket
- Sunbather in a bikini with a big pool floatie.
- Baseball player with glove and/or bat
- Vet with minifig sized puppy!
- Something Elf-like!!! to go with the dwarves and orcs!
- Something Hobbit-like!!! with bare feet!
- Teacher with small chalkboard
- Salesman with vaccum or a book decorated like a laptop
- Wild West preacher w/ a Bible.
- and!!! a gamer with video game system.

PS - They did a werewolf with the mad scientist studio sets a while back - I'd love it if they re-release the werewolf and Frankenstein.
From one blockhead to another, play well!

Now that we've seen pics of CMFs4, I figured it a good time to resurrect this topic.

Collectible MONSTERfigure sub-theme:
  • Swamp Creature
  • Invisible Man (clear minifig head, Victorian era suit)
  • The Fly (new fly head, regular body)
CMF sci-fi/space sub-theme:
  • Spacewoman (basically CMFs1 Spaceman w/female head, hair, different accessories to go with the "female version of previous figure" trend, and add to the ranks of the "good guys")
  • Green alien woman (Capt. Kirk style - giggity!)
  • Robot girl (hey, even robots need companionship...)
  • Evil Robot (Blacktron-ized version of CMFs1 robot?)
CMF town/normal sub-theme:
  • Crossing Guard (hand-held stop sign, orange vest)
  • Biker
  • Construction Worker (both to finish up the 'Village People' hidden sub-theme ;) )
  • Miner (not 'Power', just Miner)
  • High School Football jock (because the cheerleader needs a date to prom?)
  • High School Science Nerd (because the jock needs someone to pick on in order to impress the cheerleader?)
CMF Sports sub-theme:
  • BMX biker (to continue the 'Xtreme sports' sub-sub-theme)
  • Tour de France biker (to continue the 'non-Xtreme sports' sub-sub-theme)

With all the new head molds SP3 and Atlantis has been using, Swamp Creature and The Fly would probably be very easy. Just make sure you have white hands, as gloves, for the Invisible Man. How about the "Creature from the Black Lagoon" and "Sasquatch" too?

Both with bikes?

Kinda what I meant by 'swamp creature'... they've not used official names for anyone yet - the vampire was obviously Dracula, but called 'Vampire'.
"Sasquatch"
That would be cool. Could be made like Chewbacca.

Maybe yes, maybe no. The soccer player/footballer doesn't have a ball. But they've included skateboards and surfboards, so maybe.

I was thinking something like Swamp Thing, or the creature in this commercial.

I'd like to see a Gangster, Comic-Con Attendees, Executive, BIONICLE Toa (preferably Tahu or any of the other original six) as a Minifigure, Gamer, Hacker/Programmer, Barbarian, Goblin, Ghoul, and probably some other stuff. I guess some are a possibility, some are just hopes.

Musicians and an opera singer/ diva to offset the pop-star and rapper for those of more classical tastes. The beef-eater guards of Great Britian ( think big fuzzy hats). Crocodile Dundee type character.

legomandan wrote:Has anyone heard anything about future Roman sets - maybe with the Egyptians??? It's hard to believe they would do 2 unique pieces without any future plans for reuse coming up fairly soon.
They are reusing the pieces.

The spartan helmet is used on gold king from atlantis temple
and round shield looks to be used on future cmf4 viking.

not saying they wont do a roman theme, especially with the new column pieces from atlantis series.
I have inoperable cancer and am unable to work. Any gifts would be appreciated. Thank you!

Future Collectable Minifigure Speculation/Wish List

Post by cowbug » Thu Feb 10, 2011 12:35 am

With upcoming Series' 4 and 5 revealed I know what I would still like to see, I would like to know what other people predict/want to see.

If TLG came to me and asked me to create some of the figs for Series 6, these are some I would want to see, :

Burglar with a ski mask, crowbar and/or Mag light flashlight
Female Zombie in a wedding dress with a black bouquet of flowers or cheer leader outfit with black pompoms
American Football Player, silver and black with the minifig head log from the S3 hip-hop guys hat on the helmet
French Maid with feather duster
50's Diner cook with paper hat and spatula
Vietnam Era Soldier
Scottish Warrior with huge sword and kilt in (think William Wallace from Braveheart)
Canadian Mountie
Hippie in tie-dyed shirt with dreads and a protest sign
Baby in diaper with pacifier and rattle, the pacifier would attach like a beard around the neck

What are your ideas?

I love the first one, it would be nice to finally have that hat
the second isn't going to be made, no modern military

Yeah, I know, I just think it would be cool and I wouldn't have guessed we would get a gangster, maybe they will be a little more lenient on the rules with CMF Series since they are individual figs not full on military sets. But I know its not likely.
