I'd like a super hero, too. i know we're getting a wrestler, but I'm trying to imagine lines of minis that would be cool. The monsters are good. a military G.I. Joe-type would be awesome. And a line of different kinds of super-heroes would be great.

We just got finished with series one and series two is coming out soon? Do you guys think it will be as popular as the first? If Lego floods the market with minifigs, it could be a matter of time before kids and parents lose interest. It's not like you can buy these like baseball cards. they are limited. After saying that, I will try to get them. We use Lego's to get the kids to do well in school. I have to say that they are cheaper to get then sets.

Some people prefer series 1 while others prefer series 2. I think both will be just as popular with the new figures.

What I like about Series 1 is they are all almost mythical archetypes. The Caveman. The Clown. The Cowboy. The Spaceman. Robin Hood. Indian. Robot. Very simple. Very cool that you can put all these characters together.

Does anyone who has contact with LEGO or any companies who sell LEGO products know which stores will carry these since it seems only ToysRus, Lego.com in the US carry them, and the only place I saw them in Ireland in May was Argos?

While only a handful of retailers in the US carried CMF1, I believe the surprising (to apparently everyone but the LEGO community) sales will make more retailers less gun-shy about series 2. Expect to see each successive series become more widely available.

Forum member SirBrickly notifies us that he has spotted the LEGO 8684 Collectable Minifigures Series 2 at LEGOLand Windsor in Billund, Denmark. They are priced the same as the LEGO 8683 Collectable Minifigures Series 1 at $1.99 GBP. These LEGO Collectable Minifigures should soon be available in other United Kingdom toy stores.

Cracy!!! At least 200 of them in there. How did the guy get so many? If there is 3 per box of 60 figures, he must have rumbled through 66 boxes!!!!!

Hmm... I wonder if there still is a barcode to identify it on the back. Some people said there wouldn't be while others said there would be..

He must have connections. No way he can sit through 15-20 boxes when most stores only get 2 at a time.

He should have connetions when these are not even widely distributed yet and he managed to get so many already.
