After seeing all the pictures from Toyfair, about the only thing I dislike about this theme is how close it'll be released to LoTR wave 2 - gonna hurt the wallet!

Seriously though, these are really some great looking sets (imo)!

April 2013 release date.
The above hotlink not longer works. Lego's new webpage is here...

I find it strange t hat there is no mention of the release of the Lone Ranger series in the 2013 April Lego Store Calendar. I am looking forward to this series.

Brickset's review of the 79106: Cavalry Builder Set:
http://brickset.com/news/article/?ID=6018" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I like this set, but its a shame they have the 4th figure as the Lone Ranger instead of the Cavalry Commander (who is only in the Train set). The only plus for the Lone Ranger is we get the new white horse. :)

and 79107, Comanche Camp:
http://www.brickset.com/news/article/?ID=6026" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Interesting that the tomahawk is all one piece.

and 79110 Silver Mine Shootout (review split into two parts)

http://www.brickset.com/news/article/?ID=6038" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

and the 79109 Colby City Showdown:

:shock: :clap:

Must...resist...making (another) order...

Lego customer service had no official street date, but my nearest Lego store said they would have them on the 15th.

Thanks. :-D
Soooo... this is an order early deal. ;-)
I'm planning to use my VIP points/dollars for the LR train set
and if the train comes early enough I'll use my 10% catalog coupon too. :angel:

Not yet. I've been reading the street date is April 15th and my local Lego store employee told me the same date last week.

It appears now both Walmart.com and Kmart.com pulled their Lone Ranger sets for purchase, probably because they sold them to early.

Yeah or the Scalpers bought them all LOL. The crazies trying to get 3x the sticker price on the Train is nuts.

I put together the stagecoach last night and its just awesome. I have the town to build probably over the weekend.

You could swap out the heads for the Rangers and convert them to 'bad marshalls' hired by a railroad tycoon. Ala Outlaw Josey Wales :)

I will most definetly be making Clint Eastwood and the rest of good the bad the ugly.
