I hope the Lone Ranger movie is a flop, Like Prince of Persia was. Then maybe they'll offer some sets at steep discounts :)

Speaking of that, it kind of surprises me when I see so many major retailers still having things like "Fight for the Dagger" for full retail...when one has 30% off on far more recent Cars stuff clearing for 30% off.

By major retailers you mean TRUs... and that full retail is a sale for their standards. ;-)
No but seriously, I don't recall seeing any POP in my nearby walmart or targets in a longgggg time.

TRU, Barnes and Noble, Brain Toys. I've seen an occasional Ostrich Race lurking on the shelves at two Targets in September, but not since.

Actually, I loved the parts selection of Fight for the Dagger, even though, outside of the female, I had no use for the Minifigs.

Brickset has posted the images to all six sets of the Lone Ranger here (taken from the latest consumer catalog)

It appears the Long Ranger minifig is in all six sets and the train set has a cool gatling gun. :)

I couldn't care less about the Lone Ranger franchise, but much like Prince of Persia these sets are fantastic for period piece Lego.

Haha. I hope so too, but I think the western theme in general is a much easier sell than Prince of Persia. I will get stage coach for sure then hope for discounts.

With the Western Modular town not passing review at Lego, it looks like these are the only western sets we are getting this year.

Thank you Lego for putting out a Theme where I do not want pretty much anything. Blah sets with blah figures. THey do have a few nice new pieces (cow skull, hair piece), but I'm thinking this is PoP v2.0 (in this case, the 2nd version is worse than the first). I MIGHT get the stage coach, and probably the train only because I'm a Train fanatic.
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.
