Jabba's Sail Barge

We have already seen the skiff, the palace, and the rancor pit to go with the palace. Will be see a new sail barge to go with the skiff in 2013?

I really hope so! That was one of my favourite ships as a kid, and I am only a recent Lego collector, so I missed out on the old one:(

But was there a set to coincide with the phantom menace 3D release? And also, the 30th anniversary of ROTJ is next year...maybe the sail barge will coincide with that.

I hope that they do release it for the 30th anniversary of ROTJ. They seem to re-release the same type of ships/sets every 6 years. I'm sure they know that the Jabba's barge is one of the more popular pieces on the secondary market.

Let's hope they're thinking like us.

Agreed! I would love to get a UCS Sail Barge. It would be epic and hopefully filled with a bunch of new and detailed alien minifigures! I just put together Jabba's palace and while many say it's overpriced. I say it was worth every cent! The attention to detail is amazing.

I purchased the skiff this weekend and it's a really great set for the money. As somebody who started collecting right after the Sail Barge was discontinued, I sure would like to see another version released. It seems like all signs point towards it (ROTJ 30 year anniversary in 2013), but you never know...
