Star Wars License Ending?

I have heard from other places the Lego star wars license will end very soon in 2011. Is it really going to end in 2011?? I'll be very disappointed if they do. True the sets may be expensive but still a great line. I hope they renew the license. But if they do, how long will they keep renewing it? Will star wars continue to be this popular? I cannot imagine without lego star wars and hope they will be this popular forever.

The Lego group is the 4th largest toy producer in the world, the star wars franchise is one of their most popular ones. This must mean that there is some decent revenue in it for Lucas Arts. I cannot image that this deal will not be extended. On the other hand I would love for lego to pick up the star trek franchise :P

It won't end in 2011 with it being one of the popular lines. Lego is planning another renewal going on with lucas arts I believe.
