New York Toy Fair 2012 LEGO Exclusive Minifigures

Post by Toys N Bricks » Sun Feb 12, 2012 8:49 am

FBTB is reporting that there's a couple of cool LEGO Exclusive Gifts once again for attendees to the New York Toy Fair this year. First up, there's the exclusive LEGO Darth Maul in a polybag similar to the other packaged minifigures like LEGO White Boba Fett. Nice little LEGO Star Wars gifts for stocking stuffers or birthday parties!

Up next, there's also two LEGO Avengers Marvel Superheroes exclusive minifigures including Captain America and Ironman. As reported by FBTB, these ones will most likely be truly exclusives to the 2012 New York Toy Fair Collector's Preview Event as the LEGO Darth Maul minifigures will probably be available later to the public.

Lego is killing me with these exclusive figs. The best hero ones I can't get! The green lantern from SDCC and that Iron man kills the big head one.

WOW! That Iron Man is way better than the official big bobble head looking Iron Man! Of course I will be forced to try and find it available on Ebay or bricklink since I'm sure it won't be released outside of this event.

Such a shame they're not released elsewhere. As much as I like them, I can't convince myself to pay hundreds of dollars for these minifigures.

i was at toy fair.

a few years ago, they had a bucket of silver darth vaders, and you just walked up and took one. the next year they nixed that idea.

today, there was a giant line for lego. we have tried to get in the past, but because we sell online, lego will not let us in. (we do not have a lego account either. the discount is not worth it unless you are a big chain store.)

i am going back, so i will try to get the darth maul. but i begged these guys a few years ago for the white boba fett, and they politely said no.

they would not even give us a catalog last year! and amazingly enough, all these sales reps remember us each year.

Looks like the 2 packs are at $150 (with 6 days left) on eBay, and the only Maul listed is BIN $200. Yikes.
