I never really cared for Bionicle and this looks to be the same thing just with a different story. I won't be buying any unless I need a specific part out of a set for something.

But it could be a good cash cow for TLG which is good for any fan. At 8 bucks a piece I bet they sell a ton of them.

All the teaser trailer videos makes it seems so cool. A new theme hero factory with a new storyline seems good :)

As a non bionicle fan, hero factory is exactly the same as bionicle. The only difference is perhaps the story line.

Lots of complaints but a new story line is not that bad. People are probably bored with the bionicle story line. Its still lego overall.

The villains is much better (cooler) than the heroes. I wonder if the vehicle sets with the villains are the same sizer as the regular ones.

Looks like a lot of organic type elements. I can see a lot of these pieces being integrated in to MOCs for foliage, trees, thorns, etc...

Whew... more pieces to collect now :)

In the storyline, are they robots like Transformers or humans in armor?
