Indeed.. Except now, Canadian prices suffers even more big time.
  • LEGO 9496 Desert Skiff ($24.99 USD / $29.99 CAD)
  • LEGO 9497 Republic Striker Starfighter ($44.99 USD / $49.99 CAD)
  • LEGO 9498 Saesee Tiin’s Starfighter ($29.99 USD / $39.99 CAD)
  • LEGO 9499 Gungan Sub ($69.99 USD / $89.99 CAD)
  • LEGO 9500 Sith Fury Class Interceptor ($89.99 USD / $119.99 CAD)
  • LEGO 9509 Star Wars Advent Calender 2012 ($39.99 USD / $49.99 CAD)
  • LEGO 9515 Malevolence ($119.99 USD / $149.99 CAD)
  • LEGO 9516 Jabba’s Palace ($119.99 USD / $149.99 CAD)
  • LEGO 9525 Pre Vizsla’s Mandalorian Fighter ($39.99 USD / $49.99 CAD) – Target Exclusive
When I saw the price for Sith Fury Class Interceptor, I couldn't believe my eyes that its $120. These four sets below definately needs a markdown and the prices below would be more appropriate. LEGO Star Wars these days is getting to the point where the actual set is worth nothing now as everyone just wants the minifigures.
  • LEGO 9498 Saesee Tiin’s Starfighter ($24.99 USD / $29.99 CAD)
  • LEGO 9499 Gungan Sub ($49.99 USD / $64.99 CAD)
  • LEGO 9500 Sith Fury Class Interceptor ($49.99 USD / $64.99 CAD)
  • LEGO 9516 Jabba’s Palace ($89.99 USD / $119.99 CAD)
But then again, we know these won't be the MSRP. Well, maybe 5 years ago it would. Remember Jabba's Sail Barge for $74.99 USD anyone? :)

I was watching a flickr video provided by fbtb.net and when I was looking at the Jabba's palace box it looks like the character that hasn't appeared yet is Ree Yees? Did anyone else see that on the box when they got a close glance at it?

The Malevolence flicking missile is retarded. It's suppose to be an ion cannon not a gatling gun. plus it looks really empty on the inside.

Don't worry about the advent calendar, it will be 50% off after xmas.

Are Yavin 4 and Bespin the exact same thing with different colors? That's kind of disappointing. Endor looks legit though. Anyone else think that with the Bespin set and that minifigure that we will be seeing another Cloud City?

Am I the only one, well, horrified by a Darth Maul Santa? I honestly can't think of anything I would want less for xmas.

Yeah, to me sounds completely stupid. If it was an easter bunny darth vader I would say ok, funny. But a Maul santa is almost an insult to the spirit of the holiday.

Nevertheless, since people are paying 50+ on BL for the recent Maul. I can see people just buying this to resell the figure.

We'll see what happens.

(To the poster above) By the way, thank you for your vote in the mini modulars contest, I really appreciated it.

This has to be Lego trolling, no other explanation: "Yeah, let's put the closest Star Wars equivalent to the devil himself in the role of Santa Clause in an advent calendar designed to count down to a Christian holiday, hehe. Have a Merry Satanic Christmas everyone!!" :???: It really is kind of sick.

Next Easter, I predict a Star Wars Crucifixion set starring Qui-Gon.

Interesting but I have to agree - kind of odd personifying that figure as Santa... compared to the prior one, Yoda was a way better choice.

Clean pics of the new sets.

Desert Skiff is AWESOME, great pieces, colors, figures... all-around a great set.

The Republic Striker-class Starfighter, while not the most aesthetically pleasing build, just look at all that dark red! Cue Homer Simpson drooling noise...

Saesee Tiin's JSF is great, too - I like that they don't just reuse the same exact design every time. This bubble canopy matches better to the actual design.

Not really feeling the rest of them, but that could be mainly due to the pricepoint... yikes!
