Lego 10211 Grand Emporium Rumor
Re: Lego 10211 Grand Emporium Rumor
Oh i see it now. It was marked not available earlier this morning.
Very expensive Grand Emporium
The price is lame in Britain. 140 GBP is the price. We're paying more than 100% times the price in US. US retail $150 converted is $100 GBP and 140 GBP is 210.5 US. I'm sure other countries does not deserve these unfair pricing. Which countries are facing the same price problems with the grand emporium ? Finaland? Denmark? Canada? Australia?
Re: Very expensive Grand Emporium
Bout the same in Canada. We pay almost 40% higher than Americans.
Re: Very expensive Grand Emporium
Well all we can do now is wait for the exclusive to be sold at toysrus or something. Then hope for a sale.

Re: Very expensive Grand Emporium
people should stop complaining about prices and judging the currecency just cause we get cheaper lego. lego is an expensive toy. america gets cheaper lego due to a higher population. its called supply and demand.

Its unfair some countries are paying ridiclous amounts, 2 times or even 3 times the price pay in US.JabbaT wrote:people should stop complaining about prices and judging the currecency just cause we get cheaper lego. lego is an expensive toy. america gets cheaper lego due to a higher population. its called supply and demand.
Re: Very expensive Grand Emporium
I say $160 Canadian would be a more approiate price. We get tax so lego is more expensive than US. Like i said before, best thing is wait for a sale. And looks like lego has given up lowering Canadian prices. The US prices for all the new sets are like this now:
$39.99 USD - $54.99 CAD (vs $49.99 CAD before)
$24.99 USD - $34.99 CAD (vs $29.99 CAD before)
$10.99 USD - $14.99 CAD (vs $12.99 CAD before)

Re: Very expensive Grand Emporium
Prices are different from place to place. Depending on where you live, the availability of that item to your country, and the demand of it.
But I bypass all that by not buying sets. I download the instructions, put together what I can with what pieces I have, and then buy the missing pieces from bricklinks. I may not have the box, but I just saved a bunch of money.
Whether it's sold in the US or wherever I can have it regardless. Much easier that way.
