And I thought the first CW Anakin face was spooky enough.

This new y-wing looks almost the same as the 2007 one...

Ugh. As in ugly. But is has a Princess Leia in it and a new droid, so it will probably sell like hotcakes. But the Y-Wing isn't supposed to be a pretty ship is it?

The new Y wing has a wider nose. I like the 2007 front, does look better.
The main body for the new Y wing is sleeker and thinner, seems better than 2007.
The Y wing engines of New set seems less detailed with possible stickers. (like the 2007 engine)
As for the minifigs, like the mecha droid.
Will I buy one... Most likely not and will just buy the Tie fighter, new version and just buy a mech droid separately.

This new design of front area of y-wing may be looking like to y-wing original design, but it is ugly to me.
The laser gun blaster on top of cockpit is more secure than the old one; however, it can't be tilted up or down. New yellow droid is cool, and it is the key attraction for this set.

Afterall, I'm still very happy with my 2007 y-wing. Without any significant breakthrough, Lego is wasting their resource in re-making x-wing and y-wing.

Has 9494 Anakin’s Jedi Interceptor ever shown up in the movie. Did he fly this to Mustafar and dueled with Obi-Wan Kenobi. Anyway, I will reserve this starfighter for other jedi (Anakin keeps riding on his yellow interceptor) inside my display cabinet.

Will get 2 tie fighters and several battle pack for Scoutrooper, Stormtrooper, and sandtrooper. These troopers are expensive at auction site.

Speaking of tie fighter, why are the wings so huge...? I hope it is not looking wierd if I display it next to Darth Vader's tie fighter.

Compare these $20 sets with $20 sets a few years ago like 7657 AT-ST and you see that Lego used to sell the sets, not the figures. I'm not against the figures, they're awesome btw. But at least Lego could have put some more effort in the "building set" itself.
I wholey agree with you. Lego is completely relying on the minifigures to attract buyers. The sets used to have only 1 or 2 figs, and a really accurate build in them. Now, it seems like they put 4 new and awesome looking figs in a set, and along with them a model that was quickly thrown together. Lego, if you're listening, please try to focus on the "building set" and make that entice the buyer. :-)

Yes. It can't be seen very well because it's dark, but that is when it showed up in the movie.

I think it is a whole new (larger) scale than the previous TIEs. I think that if it's sitting next to the 2009 Darth Vader TIE fighter, it will look odd. The old TIE looked much better for that (if you replace all the blue with gray).

I plan on getting two Ties, and will be doing some rehauling on Vaders Tie to keep the Tie squadron looking slick. Will probably do some minor mods to the Old X-wing to keep it in line with the new one. The Y-wing I'm not as keen on but will still be getting, I like the old one alot better but the new one has its good points (The droids and the awesomeness they contain).

Endor rebels and more stormtroopers = Me happy.

Official pics of the Planets sets that I found at Hoth Bricks: http://www.hothbricks.com/2011/11/plane ... ficielles/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Looks like they're all listed at the Fench Amazon website as currently unavailable. Pretty excieting! Enjoy! :-D

These look very unique. Seems like LEGO is doing more and more of the "series" type things. For example, Minifigures, the new Ninjago mystery packs I believe and now this. The globes will make good ornaments too.

Sebulba's Podracer looks like a really cool mini build. I just wish the Sebulba minifig looked better.

For some reason, I'm really liking the little Lego Planets (Especially the Death Star). Wasn't there a cloud city/pod car one? Can't wait to see that one.
