They won't be unless they want Hasbro breathing down their neck for action figure licensing infringement again.

I recently got the Naboo Starfighter a nice ship and nice figs. I am excited for the new ARC vs Commando Droids battlepack,My army is mostly composed of phase 2 troopers(206 troops in all not including senate commandos or jedi)of the 501st legion,I could add them to my squad. The commando droids would be great as their own division of the droid army. The stormtrooper and scout trooper one has also caught my eye :D :D ;). I have a youtube

Definitely looking forward to the "possible" Endor pack with the rebels and the storm/scout trooper. Would be cool if they did like a lego figure + animal/creature set or a Jabba the Hutt and minions set. At the same time I'm thinking Lego is thinking profits and making a whole lot of weird aliens and such would go well with collectors but probably not for kids who wants the easily identifiable toys. As for the X wing/Tie Fighter... I wish they would finally build one and done and put it to rest instead of constantly building newer versions. It's almost like buying a PC. Every couple of years a newer/better one comes out with newer/better features and a slightly newer look. I would definitely love to see a rebel medical frigate or an actual mon calamari ship (I do think the curvatures of the design would give lego fits though...)

Scroll down a bit and you'll see some pictures. Orginally posted at imperiumdersteine.de but got removed and reposted here.

9488 ARC Troopers vs. Commando Droids
9489 Endor Rebel (x2) vs. Scout Trooper & Stormtrooper
Good assortment of troops.
9491 Geonosian Cannon
Yay! More Geonosian and with wings this time. Commander cody and barris is a good add on. Canon is ugly otherwise.
9490 Droid Escape
A remake is nice, but that stormtrooper bike is horrible like the polybag one. At least give us a proper built bike.
9493 X-Wing
Looks almost the same as the 6212 one.
9494 Jedi Fighter
Not announced before. Its green and has anakin, obi wan, nute gunray, security droid and r2 d2.

mostly rehash. won't be surprise to see these as special or limited editions. look for +$10 markup in TRU.

only 9488 and 9489 are probably the new battle packs and will be available in all stores.

speculation here: 9491 and 9493 will be TRU exclusives. 9490 - wally. 9494 - target. :D

The interceptor looks interesting.
On one hand the color scheme is a little odd, but on the other hand the minifigures (ie Nute Gunray) are tempting.

I doubt all these are store exclusive sets....I can only see 9490 as one, and exclusive to Walmart.

After seeing these pics only the droid escape, the TIE and jedi interceptor appeal to me at this point. The battle packs are just blah and X-wing looking too similar to the 06' one (why is it white again?!).

I find it extremely odd that in 9488 the trooper with a Phase II helm has a phase I torso and the trooper with the ARF helmet (which is Phase I) has a Phase II torso. Very odd, though these being pre-production pics hopefully the mistake will be corrected. As for "Gree" not being Gree I can only assume that they are either using the Cody 'fig as a placeholder until Gree is designed or that it was a simple mistake.

Like stated before, these are prelim pics, things will most likely change, just like they did with the Jedi shuttle.

My guess is that they're still trying to find a right mold for her.

I sure hope that tree on the endor battlepack won't be white like in these prelim pics. That just ruins the set.

I have to say, the TIE fighter is my favorite set of the lot. I really hope that it's not more than $30, but judging by the box size it's likely to be 40 or 50.

Now that I can see the ARC trooper, I am really annoyed that they are mixing the good and bad guys into one pack. He's the only figure I want from that set. GRRRR!!!
Who is General Failure and why is he reading my hard disk?

Really interested to see what the Battle of Hoth game will look like. Maybe it will make a neat little mini-display to keep setup even if you don't use the game.
