I actually prefer this new one since its more realistic. The figures are all common but still fit the scene nicely.

I don't think it will be motorized. It looks more like the real thing i guess.

Yeah, I'm pretty psyched that I only became newly indoctrinated into LEGO for this seemingly pinnacle version of the Slave 1. I've heard a lot of complaints that it's too similar to the last version, but with Bossk, the new Boba helmet, and the new molded Han in Carbonite, as well as a great modeling job on the ship itself, I'm excited. I think most of the people complaining are just unhappy that they bought the previous one, and this one is superior.

Han in Carbonite is much better than last time's figure block. It is very similar to last version, but the new minifigure I can take it.

All the summer sets look amazing. Hopefully Zellers will have their pre-christmas BOGO again this year, because it's the only way I'll be able to afford them. I also hope that LEGO takes into consideration that the Canadian dollar is once again worth MORE than the American, and at least narrow the rediculous gap between Canadian and American pricing.

I'm not holding my breath on that one, but a guy can hope.

It is stupid how we pay so much more. What happen to Wal-Mart's fight for us customers back in february?

Zellers is being wise these days. They have BOGO with exclusions all the time now. But last time's sale was lucky even though it had exclusions. There was a bug and all lego applied to the BOGO deal and not just atlantis, ben 10 and bionicle. So they weren't as wise that time.

Regardless, lego continues to raise prices in Canada when America raises prices too such as battle packs. America cost $10 and went up to $11. Canada cost $13 and went up to $12. Is our currency really that bad that causes a mark up of 2 times that of americans? We're now paying 1.4 X the amount for most sets. :(

Amazon France has most of the new wave of star wars now for sale. Seems a bit to early for summer. Just search up the names.

surprisingly, the currency rate between the United States and Canada doesn't matter. I was recently told by someone who works for Lego that it is the currency between the Danish Krone and the Canadian dollar that matters as we (Canada) gets their Lego from Denmark, not via the States. In addition, the American market is extremely overwhelming large relative to Canada. I mean look at the number of Lego stores and US AFOL-groups. Clearly, they command some sort of influence on pricing, not us.

but with that aside, I really do want to see a close-up of the final Wampa. Not sure if I'll get it but it would be cool to have it duke it out with the Yeti. =D

We’ve finally received the first picture of the Limited Edition LEGO Star Wars 8128 Cad Bane’s Speeder! Although the picture is still blurry, we now have a idea of what the ship would be like.

the turbo tank looks great but i don't know what the features will be, seems like bits just open and close like the cockpits and the sides. I can see a handle so i would assume it can be carried by the republic dropship. I suppose thats why they made it with exclusive minifigures
