Its now official. January 2010 will be the last wave of new LEGO Bionicle sets. You can read the official announcement here.

Thank god they are ending this line. The sets are just horrible and each time they get worst and worst.

I'm pretty sure Bionicle fans will be pretty upset about this. Good thing i'm not one of them.

Finally :D . I'm tired of seeing repeative same sets everytime. Hope we get a new and even better theme than that.

I suspect a lego clearance sale for bionicle is coming very soon.

The first LEGO set I ever bought was a BIONICLE set; it was this theme that drew me deeper into the LEGO building system. If it wasn't for BIONICLE I wouldn't be near the LEGO fan I am now. So I'm glad that BIONICLE came, but I hope it gets replaced by something even better.

Bionicle was pretty popular when it first came out. But like others are saying, these few years the sets haven't been getting pretty repeatitive.

Ya, toysrus (in canada) just got a bogo offer on all their bionicles last saturday.
