Licensed Themes You Would Like To See
Just a wish list thread for licensed themes you would want to see LEGO pursue in obtaining.
I'd be partial to more Superhero themes being obtained. I'd love a Thor line of LEGO :D Maybe finally get a real battle hammer out of it, and possibly resurrect the short lived Vikings Theme.

Star Trek
Specific Police Department figs
Movie Monsters
Various other movie characters
Various workers (along the lines of series 1-3 figs)
Re: Licensed Themes You Would Like To See
I'd love it if Batman and Spider-Man returned. Or maybe an end to licensed themes in favor of better original designs.

There's a whole line of ships waiting to be designed!
I would pay almost anything for a USS defiant or USS Prometheus :)

The custom Star Trek figs on eBay or elsewhere are not so goodtoystest wrote:yes please!spock00 wrote: Star Trek

This would be nice, but I don't see it happening while they have the Star Wars license.spock00 wrote:Star Trek

I don't think one agreement rules out an agreement with another. I think that's just hardcore fan base hatred you're channelingMantisking wrote:This would be nice, but I don't see it happening while they have the Star Wars license.spock00 wrote:Star Trek

Why would you have two high profile science fiction licenses at the same time? You'd cannibalize sales from either line.legitimatealex wrote:I don't think one agreement rules out an agreement with another.
I like both IPs.legitimatealex wrote:I think that's just hardcore fan base hatred you're channeling
Re: Licensed Themes You Would Like To See
If you really would prefer just to have original themes, then it seems like a VERY good idea. And I really want Star Wars to end.Mantisking wrote:spock00 wrote:Star TrekMantisking wrote:This would be nice, but I don't see it happening while they have the Star Wars license. Why would you have two high profile science fiction licenses at the same time? I really like the Star Wars theme but I'm not a fan of the Clone Wars... :xBobaFett2 wrote:If you really would prefer just to have original themes, then it seems like a VERY good idea. The Star Wars line seems like they've used up ideas/movies/shows... :?
I'd like to see them release updated versions of some of the older Star Wars Movies (IV-VI) sets...
With that being said I don't see why Lego couldn't license Star Trek.
I'm a fan of both franchises so I don't mind :D
Here are a few more ideas:
Terminator Movies/Tv Show
WWII Theme
GI Joe
James Bond
Revamp of Batman

I hate the Clone Wars. Especially the Minifigures. I do love Star Wars, but I prefer the older sets.spock00 wrote:I really like the Star Wars theme but I'm not a fan of the Clone Wars... :xBobaFett2 wrote:If you really would prefer just to have original themes, then it seems like a VERY good idea. BattleStar Galactica. Original and New. I'd love a UCS BattleStar about 2 1/2 feet long and 4-5 thousand pieces!

To actually add something to this discussion, :), I'd like to see Mobile Suit Gundam sets.
Re: Licensed Themes You Would Like To See
I think Lord of the Rings would be cool also...
a 4000-5000 piece set of Minas Tirith or Helm's Deep would be awesome!
