I would love to see a series of Tim Burton's A Nightmare before Christmas from Disney!
Re: Licensed Themes You Would Like To See
I know that would suck money out of my pocket.Legoman83 wrote:I would love to see a series of Tim Burton's A Nightmare before Christmas from Disney!

I have to agree. Nightmare before Christmas seems like a theme that continues to stick around and be popular even though the movie came out 20 years ago. The tie in movies have something to do with that but it is very unusual for it to be so easy to find merchandise on the shelf so long after a movies release.Legoman83 wrote:Oh for sure! This is the kind of theme that seems like Lego could definitely profit from.
On a side note, a theme that I would personally like to see...that wouldn't be popular enough to be created (until we get a remake of the movie)...is Dune.

I think the poly bag sets would be pretty interesting!
Re: Licensed Themes You Would Like To See
Especially given that there has been little to no other media tie ins other than a world in Kingdom Hearts and a little known PSII game. You'd think there would have been a sequel, or cartoon or somesuch given the popularity of the merchandise. I know Burton squelched the sequel, but looking at the amount of mechandise you would assume it is some perpetual franchise like Spiderman.lego the hutt wrote:I have to agree. I would argue that Corpse Bride and Frankenweenie are both Tim Burton produced stop motion pictures that were made in an almost identical style and genre. They are a large part of why Nightmare Before Christmas is still so relevant at retail after 20 years.NIGELTTF wrote:[

I like the idea of a Lego NMBC line.
Re: Licensed Themes You Would Like To See
I would love Muppet sets - the theater from the show, the bus from the original movie, the spaceship from Muppets from Space & some wacky Gonzo set.
I'd also like an Alice Cooper theme as a follow up to the Monster Fighters line.
