Blew my budget for LEGO until Christmas jumping on Series 5 at Target. It was on an end aisle...but for the first time it was on the end aisle that was facing the front main aisle instead of the back. Had to trade with a housewife who was holding the only gladiator left in the box hostage.

Playing with LEGO when I can. Where does the time go?

Series 5 was picked clean at my TRU during bogo50. I'll have to check NJ TRU tomorrow as they are not open on sundays. Dwarf seem to be the hardest for me to find.

At my local retail stores, Gladiator are harder to find than Dwarf.

i randomly complete a box for purchase just for the b2g1 sale. i intend to buy/return to complete like 6-9 sets + plenty of royal guards + spares. and i would agree with slacker. dwarves seem very popular in the nj area. plenty of glads and guards for the picking but few dwarves.

Lizard man and zoo keeper is everywhere here. I'm also having problem finding gangster besides dwarf. I'm hoping that TRU gets another shipment before B2G1F ends so I can finish my sets.

It also seems that zoo keeper dot pattern has changed. Maybe that's why I got so many of them. I must've returned 11 zoo keepers.

I have the same issue. I got a lot more Gladiators then I expected, and had a harder time finding dwarves.
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

I have had an easy time finding everything I have wanted.

But now I realize I probably want three dwarves when I only have one. I realize this now that the sales are over.

I've gotten 5 Snowboarders, 3 Graduates, 3 Boxers, 3 Lizard Men, and 1 Small Clown, didn't really have good luck with this wave.

I finally managed to open up the minifigures I brought online a while back. Can't believe I ordered 36 random minifigures and still didn't get a complete set (missing 4)! I guess I need to order a whole box or something next time. :problem:

Wished they bring back the barcodes as I hate feeling them instores. I managed to narrow my missing minifigures down to 2, but my hands are so numb and tired that I give up. If you have them, please PM me.

I think you best bet is to order a whole box. I believe you get 3 complete sets and a few extras. If they brought back the barcodes, everyone would leave all the 'crash test dummies' back in the box. :lol:no
