Re: 2011 LEGO Star Wars (Summer)
Hmmnn. I'll want it for the pieces, but I wonder if I can sell my GF on it. She does like advent calendars...

Re: Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar
When are these normally made available?
Re: 2011 LEGO Star Wars (Summer)
While an all OT or all CW Calender would have been preferable, I'm not too upset at the fact that its mixed. What I dont like about the calendar is the choice of mini spacecraft, I know they appeal to alot of people, but not me.
I prefered the style of the 2010 Kingdoms set where you got for example: The blacksmith, an anvil, a forge, armor rack and a weapon rack, making a little scene. Or the barmaid, with her table, pot, and (unfortunately for him) a pig for roasting.

I hope its the minifigs that change. Chewie is fine but I already have a few, I don't mind the clone pilot but its not exciting, Yoda Santa is pretty funny but not a selling point for me, Nute Gunray, really? Why? and a battle droid is only like 1/2 a minifig, IMO. I hope Nute gets switched out all together, and we get more, rarer, minifigs to make the price worth it. Like a Cody or Rex, a Cad Bane, Boba Fett, Lando, Rebel Commando, an Ewok (other than Paploo), I am sure there are better examples and I wouldn't expect to get all exclusive/rare figs but gimme 2-3 at least. The micro ships are cute, but if we only got these 5 minifigs and 19 micro ships, I would be disappointed, especially for $40 give or take.smilyremhof wrote:Looks good, my boys will want it. How do they figure 8 minifigs? I know of only 5. Does anyone know what ones they added?
