OMGOMGOMG!!!

Flickr user smartwii has a few pics, more pics!

The humans almost look like a revamped Agents line, pitted against a revamp of the old Space UFO theme, pretty cool looking.

EDIT: too slow! Dang...

So it's a 1950's, little green men, kinda theme? Do. Not. Want. They're ending Space Police III for this?

FBTB posted the 2011 Toy Fair LEGO Collectors event invite - it looks like it features this theme's antagonists and protagonists in the last box on the top row, and the first box on the second...

This is the space theme I have been waiting for all my life! Humans vs Aliens, what a treat.

it looks like a lego version of Halo...The soldiers look like spartans and there are different alien races like the covenant. But the blue is pretty nice...reminscent of classic space. now if they only had a red version and a yellow helmet.

Based on this image, it seems there are multiple head molds for the aliens denoting different classes, as well as some sort of "facehugger" thing - in the set "Earth Defense HQ", you can see in the upper right-hand corner a picture of one of the aliens and the facehugger to the left of it, and at the bottom right you can see one of the humans has been attacked by the facehugger!

Also, I've heard there is an 'abduction' action feature - not sure how it's facilitated, but hopefully it works better than flick-fire missiles ;)

Man... I'm really looking forward to both of the Space-related themes we've seen this year.

Me too. I really don't like the saucer tops-the bulge is WAY too big. The old UFO saucers had better aesthetic shape overall.

What is also interesting is in the Earth Defense HQ, they have a Vic Viper of decent design. Compact and swooshable.

Wow, I just noticed that. Unfortunately that's the only set that's giving us a lot of transparent yellow cockpits-the others are smoke. Anyhow, I think I'll collect the whole theme. Or more. I'm very split this year-I think I might delve into army + flagship/palace building, and I either need a lot of Pharaoh's Quest or Alien Conquest. Both themes have awesome Minifigures. I REALLY wish LEGO had these in two different years.

I think that's an "alien pet". It just happens to be able to fit over a minifig head. There's a better view of it here. Also, it looks like the Earth forces have new, double-barreled guns. It looks like a one piece mold rather than binoculars + X set-up.

I saw that on some of the boxes, along with some of them having lights and sound. Which means those sets will be overly expensive for the part count.

That's what I love! Without the huge domes the sets wouldn't have that 50s invasion movie feel going on.

The little alien this is awesome too. I really love this theme.
