LEGO 8804 Collectible Minifigures Series 4
Re: LEGO 8804 Collectible Minifigures Series 4
Really besides S1 this upcoming S4 is my fave. I do not maky armies but I like to have a few of many of these. This might be the first time I buy a box. S3 are all over in walmart. and S2 is in boxes and boxes and the borders near me. I got what I wanted. I love the Mexicans, mimes, and now fishermen which I got 3 of now. I have a few elves sealed but holding for trade for something else.
Love to see more villians and super hero types. The novelty figs are great for kids. They are starting to duplicate figs in the collectibles though. So I hope the ideas keep flowing.

Haven't seen any S3 in the Walmarts in the southeast just yet.
As for future releases. One thing they haven't done yet is a unique looking knight with full armor and helmet. Closest thing i've seen to a really cool look'n knight is the one from Castles Drawbridge Defense 7079. All nice and with gold armor.

LEGO 8805 Collectible Minifigures Series 5
All I could find was that they'll be out 3 or 4 months after series 4 and still random bags.
Re: LEGO 8804 Collectible Minifigures Series 4
Yeah agreed. It seems like a better variety and less recycled figs except maybe the surfer and skater. Would have liked to see something other than those two. Would have rather seen a football player (or any other new to the series sports fig), special army/military fig or a new adventure type fig...ncbarrett wrote:series 4 does indeed sound better than series 3.
look forward to it.
Re: LEGO 8804 Collectible Minifigures Series 4
My favorite is Series 4. Series 1 only had a few that I wanted, Series 2 had a greater number (maybe half), series 3 was actually my favorite (2 Space + Elf). Unfortunately, the pieces looks off when compared with other Minifigure accessories...spock00 wrote:Yeah agreed. Is the hockey player not new?spock00 wrote:Yeah agreed. It seems like a better variety and less recycled figs except maybe the surfer and skater. Hockey Figures came in a Hockey set in 2003. The only System Hockey set.possum wrote:Is the hockey player not new?spock00 wrote:Yeah agreed. Are you talking about 3578, the NHL rod hockey set? Not even close to what the S4 CMF looks like.BobaFett2 wrote:Hockey Figures came in a Hockey set in 2003. I know. I was just stating the fact that there was one. It bears very little resemblance.possum wrote:Are you talking about 3578, the NHL rod hockey set? Re: LEGO 8804 Collectible Minifigures Series 4
I think the sullen, moody skateboarder from series 1 was a bit of a downer. "Hey man, out of the way. I'm trying to skate!" All laid back, his knowing smirk creating ripples of tension in a crowd. Now comes Series 4 Skater man. Big smile. No skull and crossbones. Totally different figure. I don't see how you guys could even compare them.
As for the surfboarder-she's not a surfboarder! That's totally a SKIMboard she's holding. Now that I've cleared that up, you'll probably want to have them both in your hot little hands. Happy collecting!

Frankenstein, Viking, Werewolf, Geisha, and Hockey player will be mine!!! But all the minifigs look really well done and worth the 3 or 4 bucks each.
Re: LEGO 8804 Collectible Minifigures Series 4
I understand repeating certan figures, but I really wonder why they did the fisherman in S3 and the gnome w/ fishing pole in S4...I mean they are so similar, why not put the gnome in S5 or later to make us at least feel they are trying to be original?
And I agree with others that they are really milking the trophy piece!

I was wondering that too. Shouldn't the Gnome have a lantern?atmail35 wrote:I understand repeating certan figures, but I really wonder why they did the fisherman in S3 and the gnome w/ fishing pole in S4...I mean they are so similar, why not put the gnome in S5 or later to make us at least feel they are trying to be original?

And a free small PAB cup for purchases over $75....the minifigures could definitely help achieve that if they don't have quanity limits.
Re: LEGO 8804 Collectible Minifigures Series 4
and a review of a certian minifig with dots, and hair that was released in series three (don't say what it was)
