Lego Ideas The Old Fishing Store (21310) First Look

Post by askthelegoguy » Fri Feb 10, 2017 2:10 pm

I found a picture of the next Ideas set, it looks like its going to be the most expensive Ideas set yet. Have your wallets out and ready. Price aside, whatever that may be, it looks absolutely beautiful, it's a great mantel set.

It's actually refreshing to have an actual full building, not half a building (or apartment like the Big Bang Theory set :problem: ). Great use of the stone green pieces, and from what I can see in the image that roof is awesome!

$100. Can't see a piece count so it's difficult to base it off of that
Look, you wake up one day, and your legs, they just give and you just can't run anymore.

It's easily going to be upwards of a $100.

Yeah, you're WWWWAAAAAYYYYYY off. If Big Bang was $60 for a tiny set, and Ghostbusters is $50, three birds $45, Adventure Time $50 and the Maze $70, the set the size of a modular is going to cost the price of a modular. Along with the 'Ideas Tax" there isn't a chance of this being less that $150-$175. I'd be amazed if it was less than $200 if it has an interior and a back wall.

I really hope the price per piece is good, because if that thing costs as much as a modular building I'm not going to be a happy camper. Having it be the same price if not more is just flat out outrageous without a good reason such as a good price per piece.

I think the set will have like 1800-2200 pieces, plus there is the Ideas tax that jacks the price up too.
